Who should attend the ITechLaw 2007 Annual Meeting?
As the premier association of international technology law experts worldwide, ITechLaw’s annual meeting and U.S. conference presents sessions that appeal to a broad range of audiences including:
- Practicing attorneys, both private practitioners and in-house counsel

- Business executives focused on the global economy
What does my registration fee include?
Your registration includes admission to the conference sessions, access to speaker presentations, list of attendees, access to exhibits, breakfast and lunch each day, and entrance to the Welcome Reception. The Gala Reception and Dinner is not included and must be purchased separately.
Can I register for the meeting onsite?
Yes, you may register onsite at the meeting, but we strongly encourage you to register in advance so that you will have a speedier check-in when you arrive at the meeting.
Will I receive a refund if I have to cancel my registration?
Refunds are available based on when you cancel. Cancellations made on or before March 23, 2007 will be refunded 100% of registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee to cover the cost of processing. Cancellations made from March 24 to April 13, 2007 will be refunded 50% of registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be available for cancellations made on or after April 14, 2007 or for no-shows. You may substitute another person from your firm or company if you are unable to attend. Requests for refunds or substitutions may be submitted via email to memberservices@itechlaw.org, or call (+1) 781-876-8877.
Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
For registrations made on-line, confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately. For registrations made with check payment via mail, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing. If you do not receive your confirmation after 30 days, please call (+1) 781-876-8877 or e-mail memberservices@itechlaw.org.
Will I receive a receipt for my registration?
Your email confirmation will also serve as your meeting registration receipt. If you need something more detailed, please call (+1) 781-876-8877 or e-mail memberservices@itechlaw.org
I have registered for the meeting but would like to make changes to my name on my badge. How do I do this?
Your meeting badge will be created using the name and affiliation information submitted in your registration. If you would like to change the information on your badge, you may do so onsite at the meeting registration desk.
Which hotel has a room block for this meeting? What are the rates?

I’m a speaker. Where should I submit my materials?

Where can I get information about Chicago airports and transportation options to the hotel?

Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, The Ritz-Carlton offers valet parking at a rate of $40 for 10-24 hours. Self-parking is also available at a rate of $32 for 10-24 hours.
What is the dress code for the Annual Meeting?
Business attire is encouraged for all meetings and events at the ITechLaw 2007 Annual Meeting. At the Gala Reception and Dinner, black tie is encouraged but cocktail or business attire is also acceptable.
Will I have Internet Access while at the meeting?
Wireless internet access will be available during meeting hours in ITechLaw’s “Connection Café”, located near the main meeting room.
Tell me more about the Gala Reception and Dinner.
The Gala Reception and Dinner is the centerpiece of the Annual Meeting. This year it will take place in the beautiful Winter Garden in the Chicago Public Library. All attendees of the ITechLaw Annual Meeting are invited to attend. Tickets must be purchased separately when you register for the meeting. Tickets will be available for purchase through April 18 and will not be available to purchase onsite at the meeting. Please note that this event may sell out in advance of the deadline. Transportation will be provided to/from the Gala from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Will there be vegetarian or other dietary meal options at the Annual Meeting and Gala Dinner?
Yes, vegetarian meals will be made available at the lunch buffets. At the Gala Dinner, vegetarian meals will be available upon request; please notify the waitstaff upon being seated for dinner. For other dietary needs (such as kosher, gluten-free, etc), please contact memberservices@itechlaw.org to discuss your requirements.
Can I receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for attending the ITechLaw Annual Meeting?
ITechLaw is not a certified CLE provider but credits can be awarded in various jurisdictions through individual study application. You may request a letter confirming your registration (not attendance) for the meeting by contacting memberservices@itechlaw.org. For instructions and additional information on how to apply for CLE credits, click here. NOTE TO ILLINOIS LAWYERS ONLY: We are in the process of applying for CLE credit (anticipated 12 hours of general and 1.5 hours of ethics credits) under the new Illinois bar rules.
