Ms. Wredström is a Senior Associate at Advokatfirman Hammarskiöld & Co in Stockholm, a leading law firm in Sweden operating in the international marketplace and providing a full range of legal services within corporate and business law. The primary focus of Ms. Wredström’s practice is copyright and related media- and entertainment business issues. Ms. Wredström litigates and advises clients in the areas of law of media, intellectual property and commercial contracting. She has also a lot of experience in advising on the IP and media aspects of mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing.

Ms. Wredström was educated at Lund University, Sweden (LL.M. 2004) and Kingston University, England (LL.B. 2003) and her professional experience includes recent work as Senior Overseas Legal Advisor at a leading Australian law firm, secondments as in-house counsel at First Data, Sydney, and at one of Sweden’s leading commercial television broadcasters, Kanal 5 AB, as well as service with Swedish courts (assisting judge).

Ms. Wredström is an active member of the ITechLaw Association, the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL) and the Swedish Copyright Society and has authored several published articles on copyright and music law, including “The Founders of The Pirate Bay Guilty of Accessory to Copyright Infringement” (Computer Law Review International, 15 February 2010) and “Collective Rights Management Of Online Music Rights, An Update” (IAEL 2010 – Collective Licensing at the ISP Level).
