Glynna Christian is a partner in Winston & Strawn’s New York office who advises clients on legal and business issues relating to commercial and corporate transactions with a particular focus on technology, media, and telecommunications.
Ms. Christian structures and negotiates outsourcing transactions (IT and business process) and complex commercial relationships, such as joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other relationships involving the creation, licensing, marketing, distribution, and commercialization of information, media, and technology. In addition, she advises both telecom companies and customers on the development of telecom networks and telecom transactions, including managed network, VolP, and premium rate services and has experience in IP address and domain name issues, including the process to serve as top-level domain registries, commercial and operational matters in running TLDs and matters involving IP address disputes.Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, she served as an original member of the Technical Advisory Committee to the Joint Commission on Technology and Science of the Virginia General Assembly. She also served as Senior Counsel and Chief Investigator to the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and as Counsel-Special Investigation to the U.S. Committee on Governmental Affairs during its campaign finance investigation.
