Conor D. Ward
Conor Ward is a London based partner with the international law firm Lovells LLP (Hogan Lovells LLP from May 2010), practising exclusively in contentious and non-contentious aspects of computers and communications law. He was a former development programmer at IBM United Kingdom Laboratories and now frequently advises clients where the technology involved is complex and the legal issues are novel.
Mr. Ward’s clients range from heavy users of technology such as international financial institutions and telecoms services providers to technology innovators such as software developers and chip set suppliers. He is currently advising on several large scale systems integration and outsourcing arrangements as well as advising in connection litigation regarding the upgrading to railway signalling systems and a dispute related to the late deployment of a tracking system for use across the UK.
Mr. Ward is a frequent speaker at ITech Law conferences and is recognised as a leading practitioner in the field of IT law in the Legal 500, Chambers (in both the UK and The World's Leading Lawyers guides) and in Legal Business Legal Expert's guide.
