Kevin Erdman practices primarily in information, Internet and intellectual property law.  He has represented clients ranging from start-up companies to multinational corporations in Internet business protection matters.  His experience includes assisting clients in U.S. and foreign patents; domain name disputes; software and content licensing; distribution and development agreements; e-commerce agreements and procedures; privacy policies; patent licensing; and trademark and copyright registration, licensing and litigation.  He has represented medical technology and bioinformatics companies in patent and agreement transactions.  He also participates in e-commerce and privacy initiatives.

Mr. Erdman is admitted to practice in Indiana, California, Pennsylvania and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit.  He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University-Bloomington and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He is an Indiana University Distinguished Scholar, and he is included in the area of Intellectual Property Law in The Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers.

He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, California State Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, FICPI (Fédération Internationale Des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle); and ITechLaw, and he participates in ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).  Mr. Erdman also serves on the faculties of the Indiana University School of Law and Anderson University.  He is a published author and a frequent speaker at legal and business conferences.
