Dr. Anselm Brandi-Dohrn, maître en droit, Rechtsanwalt, Specialist Attorney for Intellectual Property Law, is head of the IP/IT Department in the Berlin office of his firm.  He advises and represents companies in the area of information and computer technologies (hardware and software), Internet and new media, and in intellectual property matters.  He focuses on licensing, outsourcing, offshoring, data protection and electronic commerce -- notably on assistance in public procurement disputes, and in unfair competition.  He has acquired a strong reputation for his expertise in IT law, and he has published extensively in the area of intellectual property law, IT law and public procurement.

He is chairman of the board of the German Association of Law and Informatics (DGRI eV), the think tank for IT law in Germany, and he is a frequent lecturer on current IT and IP matters.  He serves as adjunct professor for IT Law at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute of the University of Potsdam.

Anselm Brandi-Dohrn studied at the Universities of Cologne, Germany, and Aix-en-Provence, France.  He is admitted to practice before the German Bar.
