Katheryn A. Andresen

Katheryn A. Andresen is an experienced transactional and litigation attorney, with an emphasis in intellectual property considerations.  She is a frequent author and guest speaker on IT related matters, both nationally and internationally.  Ms. Andresen edited and primarily authored The Law and Business of Computer Software, second edition (West Services, Inc., 2007).  She authored the chapter on Privacy Claims in the Minnesota Business Torts Deskbook (Minnesota CLE, 2008).

She is a current member and past Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Computer Law Section, a member of the ABA and its Business Law Section, and a member of the Information Technology Law Association (ITechLaw).  Ms. Andresen earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a B.A. from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.  She has a Master's degree in International Relations from Boston University and an advanced International Legal Studies diploma from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
