Juha Taipale

Juha Taipale has a versatile background in corporate and business law, having worked in banking for five years, served as the Assistant General Counsel of KONE Corporation for six years and was a managing director of a technology startup, currently part of AMD Ltd., for three years.  Mr. Taipale started his private practice as managing partner of the Helsinki office of an American law firm, Gilbert, Segall and Young LLP, and he has been at Krogerus since 2003.

As the head of the firm's Corporate Advisory team, Mr. Taipale actively advises clients in a wide variety of commercial issues relating to technology, especially information and communication technology (ICT).  He has participated in major ICT outsourcing arrangements for Finnish corporations, designed standard contracts for ICT suppliers and dealt with various related disputes, as well as represented his clients in mergers and acquisitions.

Juha Taipale is recognized in the field of technology law by international publications such as Chambers Europe, Legal 500 and PLC Which Lawyer.  He is active in the Finnish IT Law Association as a board member.
