Enrique J. Batalla practices in the areas of Information Technology, Mercantile and Administrative Law.  His experience in Internet/domain name business and regulation includes being a member of the preparatory team advising the Czech Arbitration Court on the preparation and implementation of the Arbitration Dispute Resolution Rules for the .eu domain name ADR; serving as a panelist in the Arbitration Dispute Resolution proceedings for the .eu domain name; and collaborating on the proposal for the design and implementation of the electronic arbitration platform Agadir-Canary Islands for the Higher Council of Chambers.

Mr. Batalla is a regular contributor to legal publications, including the Computer Law Association Bulletin, Computer Law Review International and World Online Business Law.  He has been involved with numerous international conferences as Chair, Co-Chair, Moderator, planner and speaker.

Mr. Batalla was educated at the University of Granada, and has pursued studies in Washington, DC, including International Juridical Practices.  He joined the Madrid Bar Association in 1973.  Mr. Batalla's additional affiliations include the international associations LES, IPBA, AIPPI, ECTA, and IBA (where he is an officer of the Committee R), and the Hispano-Chinese, Hispano-Japanese and Hispano-Taiwanese Bilateral Committees of Spain Chambers of Commerce High Council.

Mr. Batalla is a recent past president of ITechLaw, the International Technology Law Association.
