Christian Ringeling
International Counsel, MicroStrategy Deutschland GmbH; Frankfurt

Before coming to MicroStrategy as International Counsel for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in August 2008, Mr. Ringeling served as Legal Advisor and EMEA Counsel for Environmental Law for Hitachi Data Systems.  Previously, he served as General Counsel for the German Internet start-up uni-X Software.  

Mr. Ringeling was one of the first graduates in Business Law (Wirtschaftsrecht) from the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen.  His Master's thesis was on the subject of legal relevance of electronic documents.  He holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsjurist (FH) degree and a Jean-Monnet-Europe-Certificate (Trilingual EU-Law-Certificate).

Mr. Ringeling is a member of several organizations, including the ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel) and the DGRI (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik).  He is also a TÜV-certified Environmental Management Officer with respect to DIN ISO 14001 and Eco-Audit (EMAS).
