Polo van der Putt

Polo van der Putt qualified as a lawyer in 1996 and worked for over 12 years for a leading international law firm, before joining Vondst Advocaten as a partner. Mr. van der Putt's practice focuses on technology and IT law, in both the national and international setting. Amongst others, Mr. van der Putt deals with license agreements, sourcing projects, the structuring and termination of co-operation agreements, distribution and IT- (public) procurement projects. He has a broad experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and specializes in data protection law. He litigates on a regular basis.
Mr. van der Puttt is arbitrator for the Foundation for the Settlement of Automation Disputes. He is chief editor of the online Dutch IT and Law magazine www.ITenRecht.nl and is the former chairman of the Dutch Outsourcing Association (Platform Outsourcing Nederland) and the Dutch Association of IT Lawyers (VIRA). Mr. van der Putt has authored a legal text book on software distribution, publishes regularly (recently on the legal consequences of breach of contract by IT suppliers) and is often asked as a speaker. Additionally, Mr. van der Putt teaches on a regular basis, including at Tilburg University (Contracts and ICT).
