Attorney, Kennedy Van der Laan; Amsterdam
Christoph Jeloschek specializes in Information Technology (IT) with a focus on litigation (such as failed IT projects, software implementations and IT service contracts) and e-commerce (covering both the front-end, i.e. websites and regulatory issues, and the back-office, i.e. development, hosting, support and maintenance contracts). In doing so, he can rely on his long experience in advising on a wide spectrum of IT issues, his expertise in contract drafting and his involvement in numerous international IT projects (such as the roll-out of European e-commerce projects and outsourcings). This background leaves him with in-depth knowledge of the technical issues underpinning IT transactions.
Mr. Jeloschek is well-equipped to handle international disputes owing to his multi-jurisdictional background – with degrees in Austrian and Dutch law, a good understanding of common law and profound knowledge of European law – and thanks to his language capabilities as a fully tri-lingual German (native), English and Dutch speaker. Last, but not least, his experience as an in-house counsel provides him with both a strong understanding of the business interests at stake and a practical, hands-on approach to resolving legal issues.
