A partner with Brussels based independent law firm Simont Braun, Benjamin Docquir specializes in computer and information technology law. Mr. Docquir qualified in 2003 and then joined Simont Braun, where he practiced intellectual property law at large and helped set up the firm’s IT & E-commerce practice. He focuses on technology law at large, and assists national and international clients in relation with IT outsourcing and procurement, and with various e-commerce projects, including the regulatory and consumer protection aspects. Mr. Docquir is also a recognized specialist in data protection law, a topic on which he publishes extensively and is regularly asked as speaker or independent expert. He litigates on a regular basis, with an emphasis on IP related disputes in the digital environment.
