Founder and Partner, Project Moore Advocaten; Amsterdam
Lieneke Viergever is founder and partner of the Dutch boutique law firm Project Moore Advocaten; IT law and data protection specialist in the broadest sense. Project Moore covers everything from IT projects, outsourcing and IT tenders to cloud computing, e-commerce and big data. On the last subject, Ms. Viergever recently published an article together with her colleague Jeroen Koëter in the Dutch Internet Law Review (Tijdschrift voor Internetrecht).
Before founding Project Moore Advocaten, Ms. Viergever worked as an IT lawyer with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek for nine years. She has in-depth knowledge and extensive experience. She supports clients with advice, drafts and negotiates contracts and helps control and resolves disputes. Ms. Viergever contributed to "Outsourcing, een juridische gids voor de praktijk" (a legal guide to outsourcing). In addition, she is a member of various professional associations, including the Netherlands Association of Computer Lawyers (VIRA) and the Netherlands Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR). Ms. Viergever has completed the postgraduate specialist programme in Computer Law at the Grotius Academy cum laude.
