Sabine Lipovetsky is a member of the Paris bar and has been working for more than 13 years with Kahn & Associés in the Information Technology/Intellectual Property department, after working in several international law firms. She has been co-heading this department since 2007.
Her activity is focused on advice and assistance in information technology, data protection, media, telecom and intellectual property areas. The activity encompasses the drafting and negotiation of all types of contracts - in particular IP and IT-related agreements - in French or in English; defining policies for IPRs, IT and IP litigation, including the infringement of IPRs, unfair competition, breach of contract, and Internet cases; due diligence; advice and assistance as to e-commerce issues and commercial practices such as price policy, promotions, games, guarantees applicable to sales of products, advertising and packaging of products, advertising and sale of medicinal products; and regulatory work regarding data protection, involvement in projects of dematerialization, electronic archiving and electronic signature.
Ms. Lipovetsky holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law (University College Dublin), a post-graduate specialized diploma in Industrial Property Law (Paris II, Panthéon-Assas University) and a Master’s degree in Business Law. She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the ITechLaw Association, and of the French associations Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM) and Fédération Nationale des Tiers de Confiance (F.N.T.C.).
